"Daily Skies" is an ongoing series of paintings, drawings or photographs of the sky, started in August 2005. I had wanted to start a daily practice and I was inspired by the date paintings of On Kawara and the Sunday paintings of Byron Kim. Each year the work is presented in a different configuration.
Since 2019 I have been using my phone, shooting the sky each day at noon, facing North. I then use these images to make physical artworks.
